Sub: Cheating by Snehanajali Shop and Samsung
Delivery of Damaged Samsung Fridge at home at night 10.00PM
This is with reference to our purchase of a refrigerator from Snehanjali at vasai west on 9th June-10. We have found the damage on the base of the refirgerator at the time of delivery. They have not allowed us to see the product at the time of payment at their shop. Since the damage has found on the very first day of the purchase (at the time of the delivery) we have demanded for repalcement. It is now more than one month, neither Snehanjali nor Samsung is bothered to repalce the product. They are accusing each other for the damage and we are suffering after paying the amount. The fridge is not in use from the very first day.
Number of complaints and follow up have made,but in vain. the trailing mails are the copy of some of the follow up mail send to Samsung.
You are requested to intervene in the issue and help us to get justice as poor customers are always suffering after paying our hard earned money.

Sub: Poor customer service.
This is to inform you that your service engineer has not visited us till date despite number of complaints registered to your office through personal visits and telephones after the purchase of 250 liters of your Samsung 5 star rating refrigerator from your Snehanjali out let at Vasai West on 09.06.10. From the time of delivery the fridge do not stand properly and is now hanging on 3 legs. The delivery people have told us that your service engineer will visit and sort out this problem and also will give a demo.
After waiting for two days we went back to Snehanjali and put up this complaint again. They have told us the engineer will visit. But in vain.
Again after two days we have called your service center and registered this complaint. The same answer was given and said the engineer will come soon.
7 Days gone now. Nobody has come and we are not in a position to use our refrigerator after purchasing a brand new set. What kind of customer service you are offering us at the time of purchase. In the present scenario one can understand the kind of warranty you are going to give to the customer.
My next step is to inform the Ombudsman and file a case against your organization to the customer court for reimbursement and compensation.

After lot of follow up and calls the service engineer has visited and found damage (Bent) on the base of the refrigerator which was the reason for hanging on 3 leg. How could some one supply a damaged fridge in a brand new pack? The Snehanjali out let was unwilling to open the pack at their shop at the time of the purchase saying it is a brand new set and the service engineer will visit and fix it. The service engineer has reported the matter to your office and said the refrigerator will be replaced. Again two days left and there is no response from your side. As you know the fridge is an essential item in a house. Number of food items is getting spoiled due to the careless attitude of your customer department. How long should we wait for you to take some action? After paying the full amount we are struggling with this for the last ten days. Please check the status of my refrigerator/complaint and revert at your earliest.

Thank you for sending the service engineer. However the problem which we are facing is not resolved. We do not want a brand new refrigerator to repair on the next day of our purchase. If “Snehanjali” was allowed us to see the pack we wouldn’t be taking it to Home. They delivered it directly to home at 10.00PM on 9th June 10 in a sealed pack. We have noticed the damage at the same time and asked to take back. But the delivery boys said the service engineer will come and fix it. Next day morning we have personally visited “Snehanjali “and registered our complaint in their book. Thereafter all these problems of neglecting our calls have started.
As per the service engineer the base of the fridge is bent where the compressor is fixed. As you know the compressor is the heart and lever of the fridge. We do not want any repairing on a brand new set is carried out and that too where the compressor is fixed. You have to replace only and no other option will be agreed. Since you have responded to our call and sent the service Engineer for detecting the fault we are giving you 10 days more time to replace the set. Failing which we shall approach the consumer court.
Please note that the attitude of Snehanjali is the main cause of this delay and we will not tolerate such attitude after the purchase has taken place.
If you required, I shall send you the photographs of the damaged portion of the fridge.

It seems you have a standard format for replying and not going through the details furnished in the complaint. Also we are facing very poor response from the “Snehanjali” out let. In the present scenario I am forced to stop the payment to the Bajaj finances from my bank against the purchase of this refrigerator if I do not get a proper answer from you with in 24 hours from now. Also the case will be registered with consumer court and RBI Ombudsman for their jurisdiction.
