    Default Complaint against Sony authorised service centre

    Misguidance by the authorised sony service center representative and creating mental harrassment.He misguided by saying the picture tube is faulty and misguiidng to sell the same as scrap, while there was only a small lose connection.I came to know the problem and hence lodging complaint.

    Respected Sir/Madam,

    I am dh****akshmi
    I am having mobile of sony ericsson satio(u1i). i have bought it on Nov, 2010. two days back i had a problem in the touch sreen and aslso the mobile getting switched off automatically, so i have went to near by sony ericsson service centre(vadapalani) with the warranty and also the with the purchased bill. the way that they people in that service centre is very bad and they are very eager to get money from the customers but not rectifying the problem. Instead of rectifying the problem, they creating a problem in the mobile. they are not considering the warranty, just simply telling the service charges will be Rs.2500 and above. Kindly take some action for not loosing the reputed name of sony.

    There are really irresponsible.
    i got irritated by the people working in that centre

    Angry Irresponsible staff of your workshop...

    I had a problem with my TV model KV-J21MF 1 35438990 so I went to your authorised workshop at 39 Balmiki Marg Lucknow with my set and handed the set vide Serial no. 0760025 dt. 16-9-10 Job no. WS100737010091600184 .

    i recd my tv back after 6 days that too after some heated conversation with your staff for being so late nod not updating me about the status of my TV on 23-9-10 .
    Now after few days I found that volume of my TV is not working properly . When I had a close look at my TV , I found that one side of my front speakers have stopped functioning . So I complained at your workshop and Ms. Deepti at the reception told me that the problem will get checked the very next day . Nobody turned up . I went out of station on 7th oct. I got a call on 10 th oct from your technivian Mr. Pankaj Sonker First I felt irritated the I asked him to visit my house when I return on 18 Th oct.

    I called on 18th to Mr. Sonker but his mobile was swithced off. Then I again complianed to your workshop and I was told that Pankaj will call me next day and will come to check the TV. Mr. Pankaj did not called me 0n 20th either. I again called your workshop and Ms. Deepti conviced me again that the technician will reach me that day only . But I was surprised to see that all your staff was taking me for a ride . Nobody even gave me the complaint number.

    Now today morning I called up again and got infuriated on the phone. I asked the complaint cell number but your staff did not give me. I felt like abusing on the phone itself but I controlled myself. Then Ms. Deepti again promised me that today the technician will come by 2 p.m.

    Finally your technician came at 5 p.m. in the evening I was in my office busy in a meeting. My wife got the TV set checked . Your technician could not get the defect detected and instead of carring the TV himself told my wife to send the TV to their workshop. Ridiculous.

    What service do you people give at Sony ? Firstly you harass the customers then you leave the problem on them also . If carrying the TV was the solution , why did'nt you tell me then only on 3 rd october when I first called you up. Very disgusting from your part .

    I want me defect repaired at my house only or you arrange yourself about it .

    Hope the matter will be solved iimmediately.

    Default sony cybershot problem

    hello there...

    i have a sony cybershot....got it almost an year ago....

    it stays with ur inefficient sony service centre staff in sanjauli...(HP) near shimla..

    its been 6 months now...

    i tried using my cam 1 fine day...it didnt start up...d screen said USB connecting all d time...

    i gave it in d service centre...they said the USB port is rusting from inside...

    SONY ppl wat kind of parts do u use in ur 12,000 rs cameras that rust away??that to in 6 months time???

    anyways...they said i need to give 2000 rs for a new USB port thing....i gave it...still that camera came back 2 me in 2 months time...

    then when i was using it the same day it came back...the flash was not working...it had 2 be sent back again...

    it came back with a new flash...after 7 days...again the flash is not working....i gave it for repairing again....

    wat the hell....??? these ppl are sooooo useless they dont take ur calls...put u on hold...or tell me that they will call me 2 tell me wen can i get my cam bak wich they never do....

    this is sooo infuriating...

    conclusion....M NEVER USING SONY AGAIN...

    Default service centre at saranpur

    i would like to know whether there is any authroised service station of yours at saharanpur.
    i actually found something very odd about the one here opp sadar thana .

    my cyber shot camera once got totally discharged as the shutter was left open by my son.
    when i took the same to the service station they took it inside their dark rooms. after sometime they got it back and said that the lens was spoiled an since my camera was under warranty period it would be corrected for no charges . i gave it to them and after few days they gave it back to me with no written paper .when i asked for the same they refused saying that no papers are normally issued after repair.
    i found this very odd


    now my music deck is having some trouble . dont know whether i should take it to those same guys or not???

    Default worst victimisation by sony authorised service station

    My sony music system model No.MHC RV2 developed some problem in its radio i.e.the radio keeps on tuning but station does not get locked, other than this problem all other functions were operating normally. I submitted the set to a sony authorised service station namely M/S C P Enterprise,Guwahati,Assam in the month of September'10.The service centre kept the set for nearly two weeks and never cared to inform me about the status of repair during the period, as a result whenever I contacted them about repairing of the set they used to take flimsy pretext for not repairing the set. At the time of taking delivery of the set I found that they have added another problem to the set i.e.the CD tray of the system was jammed,which was perfectly working at the time of submitting the set for repairs.Out of disgust I withdrew the set from them and resubmitted to another Sony authorised service centre namely M/S Sidhartha Distributors,Guwahati.They immediately dissassembled the set in front of me and told me to collect the set after two/three days but surprisingly enough after two days they returned the set without repairs rather callously reassembling the set expressing their inability to repair the set.Finally, I submitted the set to another autjorised service centre namely M/S Tech Shop,Guwahati on 27.09.10 under job no. 4838. This service centre crossed all limits that retained the set for nearly two months and during the period they never cared to inform me about the repairing status rather whenever I called them up they started taking various pleas like non availability of mechanics,spares etc. Getting fed up with them I contacted the local service in charge of Guwahati and subsequently the customer care executive Ms Soma Bose at Kolkata but they were also found to be absolutely non cooperative. During my personal visits to the service centre some of the employees of the service centre did let me know that the all the system of the set was damaged while attempting to detect the original fault of the radio only and as result they hve to replace the whole board for which they have placed orders,even after this information also they took another three weeks.When I again enquired about repairing of the set they were still clueless.Surprisingly on 29.09.10 the service centre informed me that the set has been repaired and informed me a very exhorbitant repairing charge of Rs 6000+.Now I seek relief that why should I be penalised for the damage caused by the service centres for their unskilled handling of the equipment. Thus solicit justice and relief in the form of paying the cost of repairing the radio only which was my original complaint or replace the set with a new set as there is no guarantee on the repairing of the set by such irresponsible service centres of sony.Trust I will receive due justice through esteemed forum.Regards.

    Default SONY LCD TV - Clarity service center.

    Dear SONY,

    Am Harish, i purchased SONY LCD KL - 26S550A in the year 2009. I enjoyed the quality of sony until 2011 october. We faced a minute fault of red/green shade on the figures.

    A person Sudakar from clarity services, Padi chennai reached our home on 19 OCT 2011 and asked us to bring the TV to showroom in PADI (which is 25km from our house).

    They replaced COMMON MODE SHOKE COIL and delivered TV on 02 NOV 2011. They charged Rs. 728 + 600( up and transportation charge).

    JOB NO: WS10090811102000310 DATE: 20-10-2011

    DELIVERY DATE: 02-11-2011

    Inspite of all these barriers, we again faced same problem in 10 days(during the period of Service warranty) after delivery of the TV. We continously called CLARITY services showroom and same person(Sudakar) reached our home, removed a circuit board from TV for service on 13 DEC 2011. Now we crossed a week and still we haven't got any response from CLARITY services, padi, ch -50.

    We contionusly keep calling the CLARITY SERVICE center 2654116, 26547744 and also the person Sudakar(9003207452). We havent got any response till date 22-12-2011 which is not expected from a Authorised SERVICE center.

    We choosed SONY International brand as i greatly believe in its International quality & Standard Services. But now am highly disappointed with service provided by CLARITY SERVICES, padi, ch - 50.

    Also provide me address of Authorised Service center who can give a 100% customer satisfaction.

    Can you please take necessary steps and help me in fixing my TV permanently.

    I still believe in the quality of SONY, hence expecting a prompt response from you on time.

    As per the policy of Sony India, any complaint is to be responded in 48 working hours.
    I've logged a complaint (No 9012911) on 19th December at 1200 noon.
    BUT till this time i.e. 28th December 1100 hrs, I've NOT received any Response.
    I've chased this matter with your call centre on 23rd, 26th & today.

    I've also informed this problem to Sony India on line through Contact Us. But no response has been received.

    My complaint itself is about late response of Service Centre.

    Do Sony India has acquired this new characteristic of NOT RESPONDING ?

    Default 3D not detecting for KDL-40EX720

    Ref: Sony Complaint No. 9265437 dated 23.01.2012

    Purchased 40 inch 3D TV on 24.10.2012 in Reliance Digital, Kukatpally, Hyderabad,

    Price : 79,900.00

    Since then 3D is not detecting.

    Attended Service Person from 24.1.2012 to 31.1.2012 for 3 times.

    To know the 3D Features and Options your service man made so many rounds to my

    house and at last he finalized saying that Motherboard is Problem for the TV that why its

    not detecting, Finally he said sony service will repair and replace some components. and he will not replace even though its Brand New 3D TV.




    We want to get replace this one with the new piece, we dont want any alterations or adding new components and

    repairs to the TV.

    Kindly assist in this

    This is followup to my earliest post. i am sure sony guys are sleeping.
    They really dont care about the service. My TV is not only detecting 3D, but found that the brightness is very low compared to other TV's. To get normal brightness i need to put the max brightness. I dont know who is going to help? Looks The local service person doesnot have proper training, he took 1 week to know whether the funcationality is working or not.

    This is further followup to my complaint Ref: Sony Complaint No. 9265437 dated 23.01.2012
