    It is to mention that I have bought a pureit water filter (a water filter product of Hindustan Unilever Ltd.) from Puri Enterprises, H.No.161, Block - F, Pocket - 17, Sector - 8, Rohini, Delhi - 110085 vide Receipt No. IS09/1316-3987 dated 06.07.2009 with a battery kit having a potential to filter 1500 litres of water. It got exhausted in three months and then on 01.10.2009, I got it replaced with a battery kit having potential to filter 2200 litres of water from the same dealer as mentioned above. It worked for nearly six months i.e. from 01.10.2009 to 29.03.2009. When its meter showed an indication to order for a new battery kit, I did so on pureit helpline and withing a week, a new battery kit of 2200 litres filter capacity was delivered to me at home on 29.03.10 vide Receipt No.ISO9/2233-11603 dated 29.03.2010 from Shastri Nagar Cluster (DD Real Con Pvt. Ltd.), F 6/7, Shastri Nagar, Opp. Metro Pillar No. 186, Delhi - 110028 (TIN no. 07750335825). This battery kit was faulty and it got exhausted in just a month's time.

    As filtered water is a necessity for my family, I bought a new battery kit of 2200 litres capacity from Puri Enterprises, Sector - 8, Rohini vide Receipt No. IS10/1316-433 dated 04.05.2010. I also made a complaint there about faulty battery kit being delivered to me and they informed their Heads telephonically and assured me that they have requested for FOC (Free of Charge) replacement and it will be delivered to me within 15 working days.

    But, after the promised time was over and since no replacement was sent to me, I made a telephonic complaint for the same on the helpline no. and a Complaint No. C 102104736 was given to me and again I was assured that the replacement will be sent to me within 7 working days.

    Again, the promise made was not fulfilled, I again called on their helpline and reminded them about my complaint, a fresh complaint no. C 102229729 was given to me and same assurance was made but never fulfilled.

    Since, 50 days are over till date and I have not received any replacement battery kit except the fake promises being made by the dealers.

    Hereby, I request you to interfere in the matter and kindly help me in getting the replacement of the battery kit of 2200 litres filter capacity. I am not asking here for any compensation, but I want them to be warned through your channel so that in the future, they could improve their after sales services. Kindly look into the matter and do the needful. I shall be thankful.

    Looking forward for an early reply.

    We purchased Pureit from LIG SWZ (shri Vallab Baradiya) 25/2, New Palasia, SCFS, Indore (m.p.) and paid Rs 2,000 Cash for this product and from the date of purchasing we found that there is a leak & Carbon Particles of Filters, Mud & other Particles seen in the purifier (transparent pureit water bucket) and we are unable to use it.

    and 13 time face to face complains in company Indore office by my brother No response & I am Personally Complaints from phone HUL Bangalore R&D, White field centre, No response?

    8) Online complaint dated 9 Sep 2010 Pureit Water Purifier- As Safe As Boiled Water

    We got to know regarding this when my 2 yrs son & Daughter fell ill with Pastiche, Tifoid, Lose motion and doctor said it was due to impure water. We immediately checked the water filter and their own service engineer testified that the filter (pureit) was defective.
    After that repeated complaints to the company for replacing has fallen on deaf ears.
    All calls to their helpline always resulted in the same answer, we are sorry for the inconvenience and we would assure you of the best service. This has gone on for the last one month.
    I have tried to reach their but they have not responded till now.
    I am extremely disappointed that HUL is stooping to such lows. Whom can we trust if such big brands like HUL do not operate responsibly?
    Their manual itself claims that they will replace defective parts supplied by them.HUL makes false promises.
