    I'm sorry to say that you custmor service is very poor. I belong to Chandigarh and brought a 230lt fusion refrigerator in Oct 2009. After two months water is started to leak out through refrigrator and then I called the cutomer care many times but either phone was invalid or nobody is picking up the phone.(60008558 for private users and 1860-180-4558 for MTNL/BSNL users.) Then last month I sent a mail stating all the above problems but till now I didnot find any reply.
    Anyway after trying all means when I myself invetigated the problem then I found that the cheeller tray is having manufacturing defect and instead of water flowing through tube it come out through refrigerator corner seal and flooding the floor. But I could not rectify as it require replacement of cheeller tray.
    I was a loyal cutomer and because of this I have whirlpool washing machine and microwoven.
    I think whirlpool has forgotten the TQM pinciples that cost of making a new cutomer is much -much higher than retaining a loyal cutomer.
    Now the Customer care technician is became sales staff not a inspecting staff . I'm not blaiming, you just buy a refrigerator he will advice so many things to buy including voltage stabliser even the refrigerator has inbuilt stabliser.

    Exclamation why I will never buy whirlpool appliances

    My refrigerator (bought in january 2009) stopped working. I called on 05.07.2010 service in The Netherlands (phone: 0031 76 530 64 00). The service man could come just on 07.07.2010 (is around 28 Celsius degree outside), so on the third working day. I asked about time but service said 8-18. I explained that I am working 70 km outside of Groningen so I have to take free day if I don't know what time the service man will come. The only answer was half hour before I could be called. I asked at least about one hour before, but that was not possible. I asked if any other service can be offered. The woman said that they will call me back - what never happened. At the end I had to take a day off. The service man called 10 minutes before arriving. Seems that a motor needs to be changed. For me means week or more without refrigerator. I called once more service what can be done, maybe other can be delivered or this replaced within shorter period of time. We expect on Friday 31 degree.... The only one answer was " nothing could be done". The service was not interesting that I will loose second day, that I am almost two weeks without product, that all my food had to be throw out..... The funniest is that on the internet side we can see " wij helpen je graag" - what means that will help me with pleasure. BIG JOKE. In this case I am sure of one - never more wirlpool products in my house
