    Default Croma Split Ac Mis-Sold and Not Serviced

    We had bought a Split AC from Croma Stores on the 30/10/2011.However before buying an AC we did inquire about how do we fit the AC as we stay in a rented apartment.The sales advisor said that a hole had to be made in the wall.However we asked him if the AC window could be cut and the pipe be taken through it.The advisor confirmed that this is possible.we also requested the ac be delivered before 12 p.m. as we would not be at home later in the day.The AC was not delivered at the given time,Infact we got calls while we were at work at around 9p.m. confirming the ac was being delivered then.after repeated calls and complaints to the croma call centre and speaking to managers at different departments the AC was finally delivered at 12 p.m. on 4/11/11.Then a guy came to fix the AC on Saturday however then confirmed they could not cut the window glass to pass the AC pipe and if it was possible would incur additional cost.They also said that the tube light in the bedroom will have to be shifted and a plug point will have to be fixed for the ac and all additional cost will have to be paid by us.He then confirmed we could decide and will be back on Monday 07/11/2011. After repeated calls everyday requesting to come and fix the AC which is just occupying space in the house we told them to come before 12 p.m. as we leave for work after that time.They have not bothered to call call back and infact disconnect our calls switch off their phones.Today being the 11/11/2011 we have an AC lying in the house unused or even fixed.When asked for compensation the corma manager at malad explained that they cannot compensate us for the inconvenience.When i was upset and trying to explain the situation he said we can talk this out or argue about it and the ball is in my court.I don't suppose that this is way a manager is suppose to talk to their customers.We are so upset we also requested to come and take the AC back and refund the money, that is also not being done.It feels like Croma just wants to sell their products to customer not giving complete information at point of Sale and after sale service.

    That is why it is said that when you buy something as expensive as an ac then you must go for big brands like Daikin India, Career, Hitachi, LG etc.... and not for something as petty as Croma. Anyway, now you just go to the shop and talk to the people face to face.

    Firstly tell me one thing- is Croma a product brand or dealer brand. If it is a dealer brand then it is not to be blamed because it is buying from product brand and is just selling. Like you have Vijay Sales etc. They are not manufacturing etc actually and if it is otherwise then it is ok. Like you have many less popular dealers which sell Daikin Products, LG Products etc. Croma just happens to be a hugely popular dealer.

    Buddy, I will never ever suggest you to buy anything from Croma... I mean they are just dealers and nothing else. Why cant you buy from the show room of the brand when you anyway have to spend that much money. Also use acs from leading brands like Daikin, Haier Samsung. I myself have Daikin India Ac it is superb.

    Yes, very much like Arunay... even I have telling this for such a long time that Croma is not something that great that you can rely to it completely. It is just a plaza sort of thing. Why do you need to buy big things from there. When you have real showrooms. So it is also your carelessness. You must have gone to show rooms of Daikin Products, LG Products etc.
