Hi Team,

I bought an Electrolux refrigerator from Next retail C**** Road Jammu on 4th of Nov 2010. The bill was issued on my Father's name. To my surprise the same was delivered by the load carrier guy on Roadside and without giving a chance to say anything the guy just fled away.
I took the refrigerator inside and opened the packing and found that I was delivered a dented refrigerator.

I called up the Next Retail dealer and informed him about the same. The reply I got was shocking. He simply said that the guy was just a Load Carrier Driver and not a delivery boy and what he did was correct. he was not supposed to deliver the package at home.

I have tried contacting the Customer Care of Next retail and they told me that I should not have taken the delivery. However when I explained them what actually happened they asked me to send an email to make things official.

It has been over 3 months and i have not been given either a replacement or at least the repair of the dented refrigerator. I have done constant follow up. Every time I get to hear a new reason.

Apparently the Next retail franchisee has run out the stock. Then he logged a complaint with Electrolux service center. After a few days we were informed that Electrolux service was being handled by Videocon in Jammu and their contract ended and the complaint needs to be raised again. Some service engineers came and took some photographs but to no avail. Till now the issue is not resolved.

Can you please tell me what are various options for me to get the issue resolved. Help on the above will be really appreciated. Please tell me in case any other details are required.
