Default Dishonouring of a scheme by videocon

    hi,
two years back videocon had a scheme "mano ya na mano" in which customer had to buy a videocon jumbo tv with an extra payment of 7000rs and after the scheme period of 3years a plasma tv would given free of cost. However videocon contacted me saying that since plasma tvs were out of production it will not be available and they will provide us with a lcd tv for a payment of an extra 12500rs and after i paid that they said that model of lcd was also not available and asked for an extra 1000rs for a higher model.however i pad only 500 and now they are delaying the delivery, the process has already taken one month and they are asking for more time.
    please suggest.

Videocon Industries today communicated that consumers who brought 34“ flat color TV under the ‘Mano Ya Na Mano’ scheme, in which they were to get a plasma TV after 2 years and 11 months, have been given multiple options to redeem their bonds as per the terms and conditions of the offer. Company spokesperson stated that genuine customers who are bond holders after fulfilling the terms and conditions of offer like submission of proof of identity and payment of taxes will get desired products as per the options selected.

Company stated that all consumer interest is well protected as per the terms and conditions and the consumers will be assisted by the company functionaries. To avoid confusion and queries, consumers can directly approach the local Videocon office for necessary assistance to comply with terms and conditions of the offer.

Certain unscrupulous elements want to misuse the consumer offer by luring consumers to sell their bonds, which is being used for profiteering. The company is getting very good response for its redemptions and the multiple options offered to consumers.

    Default Chetaed by VIDEOCON

Yes Agree with all..they are cheating to lacs of people of India. No one can trust on the Videocon anymore. Why should we buy there LCD tvs again. Already we knew that quality of all lcd TV of videocon is not good. Even the price of there product is less in m,arket and all cutomers wanted to buy SOny & LG lcd. Why we should buy another crap of Videocon. I gave my money becoz i know videocon product is not worth by paying huge amount.
This is eye opener to me and most of my friends for "NOT to Buy a single product from VIDEOCON" Because they cheated tons of videocon consumers like us. Is this is marketing strategy of videcon marketing people or marketing strategy to cheat lacs of people of india ??????????????
    SHAME ON YOU VIEOCON..........
