I have bought Gilma Stove - Nero - 4B A/1 Stove on 14th Oct 2010 from Bangalore S.No. 4SGJ00470, it has top glass and during the purchase I have asked about the toughness of the glass and I was told it is heat resistance and if hardly hit the glass may crack, but its very tough.

It was today in the moring during cooking the top glass cracked with a sound as of the glass is broken into peices and we found that the top glass got cracked, I have informed their service dept and I was told that glass don't have warrenty and for the repalcement I have to pay the cost of it, I told them it got cracked due to heat and my doubt is about the heat resistance property of the glass, but they have refussed for any free repalacement and yet they have not deputed their technician to attend but, though they have promised their technician will come.
