    i'd purchased godrej fridge (gfp-430 steel) on 9/2/2005 for Rs.22,000 from jain traders at thane .this product is a failure. and i've complained to godrej many many times. it just stops cooling and then i've already got it repaired 3 times. the problem persists. Godrej company gave me a seconds sale fridge in 2006 but this fridge has the same problems. the cooling level just goes down. i've been complaining the whole of these years and now this fridge just isnt working. The company guy had told me that this seconds sale fridge wont give any problems but thats not the case. I had paid 22,000 for a new fridge but what i've got is this seconds sale fridge and on top of that there just is this response that they are asking me to buy a new fridge from them at 20% discount (i also have a letter for proof).Now i really am lookin for some action into this . consumer forum is now my last resort. sales office no- 9920972536, thats the number of Mr. Vijay Bonagiri from the thane sales division

    i have already post my complaint regarding Godrej ref GFP430xSteel model on 10/04/2010 please do something fast cause my fridge is not at all working and nowadays fridge is necessary become necessary

    The best thing to do would be to get in touch with your local consumer forum at Mumbai and see what advice they have to offer.

    You have not provided much details here for anyone here to give you sone advise on what to do... If you would like to get suggestions from me and other members here then please post your story in complete detail and also mention what proofs you have got with you to back up your story.

    hi i am anita revankar . here i am giving detail;i have purchased godrej ref GFP430xsteel model on 09/02/05 from jain traders thane naupada,for Rs. 22000/- very next day i find fridge is off so i called godrej service center manasi enterprises. godrej guy came and he told me one part of the ref. will have to be changed it will cost Rs. 2000/- i paid him i have the receipt. after two three weeks again the same problem. so again i complained this time he changed the part free of charge but again and again same problem i'v had to face then i came to know that this is failure product of godrej co ,godrej pentacool refrigerator so i wrote to godrej co. and on phone Mr Rakesh Dassi told me i will replace this ref. and its warrenty period also start from the date of delivery .the date of delivery is 12/09/2006. And he delivered me fridge which was second sale refrigerator i came to know later .i have challan as a proof . But now again my ref. is not working from 20/03/2010 again godrej service center guy charged Rs. 350/- just to see what is the problem. i have paid total Rs. 2350/-as repairs for this fridge . I have given complaint in writing on 28/03/2010 but mr vijay Bonagiri mob no.9920972536 offered me to take new fridge on 20% disc. . i have bill ,two challans, acknowledgement of my letter , the letter of senior manager godrej co cheated me by giving second sale ref. for the cost of new fridge.

    I feel very great after using your godej eon product since last 1 yr & 4 moths only . I’ d purchased godrej eon model on 25th jan 2009 I d given a complain just after 5 months regarding not getting sufficient cooling but I was convinced by your engineer that because the product was purchased during the time of winter you will not get sufficient cooling out of it , again the product was beaked down the compressor was replaced on 6th jan 2010 it works good for few days again your engg refill the gas chamber just after two months only I am sorry to say that just after 15 days again I am facing the same problem it is very interesting that your engg is unable to identify & detect where is the problem

    It is going to be disease like cancer to my financial condition it is not possible to bear Rs 1000 extra expense for godrej refrigerator
    There is the problem from beginning but I was biased by your engg to avoid replacement for the benfit of Company &the Godrej co work as blood sucking agent to us
    It is my view that the product was defective from the date of purchase , but I know it is not possible for me to tell you to replace the product because warranty the expired after 1 yr , you suggest me whether it is justified to give service charge after 1 month
    If is so you do a favor to me you collect the refigateror from my resident with your transport cost I am ready to through such type of Rs 14000 product to you in free of cost rather to meet Rs 1000 extra expense every month

    sir this is shalender moona from meerut<u.p>.
    sir we bought a godrej refrigerator penta cool in the name of MADHAV MOONA from ur dealer rajpal marketing pvt. ltd. on 23.10.06.
    sir but to our surprise d refrigerator went some problem after 3 yrs. so v locked a complaint in d service center
    at meerut on 21.5.2010.compalint no. is 851385.
    sir a man named as sunil came from d service center on 26.5.2010 and checked the refrigerator.
    he told us abt the problem in freezer cabinet,and some door problem.moreover rust has also attacked d fridge.sir he took 350 rupees from us and said ki it will be repaired within a week.but since that day sir v haven't received any response from godrej company.sir its almost 3mnths and the whole summer we hav spent without ice and cold water.its really a disgusting factor for ur company.
    as u know sir that d fridge is in warranty for 7 yrs so i would request u to look into d matter at d earliest
    we want a reply from your side within 10 days.
    these delays are not good in business world.in case we dont get ur reply within 10 days we are unfortunately going to consumer court as we cant wait any longer as its almost 3 mnths.

    Default Pathetic customer service for Godrej products

    Last year(07/01/2009) i bought a refrigerator(Eon GFE 28 Serial No. 2C5C11 07061802462) for Rs.16245/-and a washing machine (GWF 620 DAC Serial No.80801242 4DIGMR) for Rs.13890/- from Monghyr Musical Stores (ph no. 06344-222463) a authorised dealer of Godrej in Munger,Bihar in the name of my father Mr. S Z Hoda (bills no.961 & 962).It has been a pathetic experience since then.Firstly,after lots of pleading & requests the non-functional washing machine was replaced.Secondly,within 4mths the refrigerator developed major problems in the cooling unit and after much efforts the complaint was attended by a rude engg. who did some patchwork repair on it. Seems it was a defective product from start.
    Recently (04/09/2010) the refrigerator again stopped functioning.For 1week we kept running to the dealer and registered a complaint with the service centre(service call no.878465).When the service engg. turned up he told that the coolant gas has leaked which needs refilling. He charged Rs.350/- for the visit.Then he has disappeared for 4 days and we were told by the service center that the engg. had some personal problems so only when he returns our problem would be attended. The dealer even rudely gave us the number of Mr.Debashish Das(9709302450) who apparently is incharge of customer care for Bihar.That number also was switched off for next 3 days. Finally after 2 weeks of efforts the engg. was back and we were told the cooling unit needed replacement which would take over 15 days more and besides the bill that also went up to over Rs.3000/- while the earlier estimate was Rs.750/-.We are still waiting for it to be replaced.

    My parents are senior citizens (father is 75 yr old)and there is no other person over there to follow up for all these complaints.The authorised dealer is 1.5km form our house and insists that my father should come in person to his shop to register the complaint. They do not register it over phone and my parents arent that computer savvy to register the complaint online.The authorised dealer is very rude and has simply told us he is not responsible for any after-sales service and we should contact Godrej directly (Mr. Ibrar 9431210701) for it.This is really too much for an elderly couple to cope with. I am living in Mumbai and cannot follow it up from here. Kindly do the needful and take up the case with the company.

    Thumbs down Godrej EON refrigerator cooling problem

    Hi,
    This is Arindam Basak from Baranagar, Kolkata-36. I purchased a refrigerator of Godrej EON model at november,2008. After having it, it became the great nightmare of my family. After 5-6 months, I complained for less cooling problem even having stabiliser installed by Godrej technician. The rubbish bullshit engineers changed the Bi-metal 2 times, Timer 1 time, Motor Fan 1 time...But the problem is still continuing. Yesterday, a hopeless engineer came and changed the bi-metal again. After he had gone, Compressor stopped working and cooling stopped totally...Please advice how to destroy this product of Godrej forever to protect people from such kind of harrashment.

    Default Avoid any godrej product please. The worst company !!!

    just purchases the fridge and within week product suddenly stop working , till then i ma chasing customer care and organization office but no response to fix it… worst product , worst costumer care and SC. I request people never purchase any product of godrej as they cheating us and making a money. just boycott godrej and then then they realize the power of us. honestly i dont have any personal intention to write such review against them but they force me do this. i dont want more ppl get cheated.

    Default reapir the godrej refrigerator in warranty period

    we purchse the refrigerator (in cherry colour)from kalka gadi chowk ,ghaziabad in dec 2007. but now it is not working ,we alreday given the complaint for the repair with in warranty periods .

    Angry Unusual & high volume of noise from refrigerator

    Dear sir/madam,

    I am Santosh Kumar D. purchased a Godrej Refregerator (Model No. GDPV2 215T) Sl. No. S1005270567 on 14/01/2011. We have been experiencing uneasy with that refregerator because of unusual sound and defective product. The same has been conveyed to the distributor, customer care center and service center but there is not at all proper and valuable service. Some times the service center person is not responding to our queries and not taking any action even after lodging a complaint. Without visiting the customer place he is closing the issue there itself.

    I believe the godrej product are good. That to prior to this refregerator I had used the Godrej refregerator for many years where I could not have experience such kind of problems. However it shows and reflects the brand image. I am totally unsatisfied and disappointed. Hence I want replacement of the same product with same model.

    I am looking for ultimate solution on it.
