Dear Sir/ Mam

I Mr Rajesh R Khandelwal had given a refrigerator for repairs to
Godrej SmartCare Pune ( Ref No 904512). Your service centre people,
First said Rs250/- checking fees, I paid it.
Second they said the compressor is gone. You have to pay Rs3650/- for it.
I paid it.
Third, Now after this they say you still have to spend Rs1000/- more to make it.
Then I said I don’t want to repair the refrigerator, So they say your Rs1150/-
Will be deducted from your Rs3650/-.
Now You people tell me is this the kind of service GODREJ SMARTCARE people
Give without repairing the refrigerator I have to pay Rs1150/- when your person
had already taken Rs250/-.
I get a New Fridge for Rs6300/- with five years warranty.
What kind of service is this. Why these people have misguide us.
Please give me a explaination.

Dear Sirs,

We purchased in November 2007 through one of your dealers VGP, 100 Ft. Rd, Indira Nagar, Bangalore a fridge and a washing machine, both of Godrej make.

In respect of the Fridge, we have a service contract extending upto November 2012 - Contract No. 04080170 indicating that the Contract expires on the 09-11-2012. About the service we get, there is hardly any thing to commend itself - once in a while somebody calls up enquiring how the fridge is functioning - no more - and no visit by the service personnnel in spite of suggestions from us. Probably you may look into this aspect for the future.

As regards the washing machine we have no service contract.

Touch wood,we have not faced any major problem in regard to both the equipments so far.

Recently, these last few days we find the Washing Machine is posing us a problem of some leakage of water from the bottom. I have been trying to reach your toll free number which I got from VGP today but have not been able to establish any contact. VGP did not provide a local contact number when requested suggesting we call you on the toll free number - 1860002030. It will be useful to have a local contact number in such circumstances to enable us to availof immedite help without having to go through the Toll No. It will definitely help to hasten the process.

Yes coming back to the issue about the WM wewould appreciate if your service people are advised to contact us as early as possible so that their visit can be suitably timed and our problem gets sorted out quickly before any damage is done to the equipment. My contact particulars including address are given below.
