This complaint is regarding the poor customer service from Hindustan Unilever Pure it. Few months back i have purchased a purifier from them. Now it is the time change the germ battery kit; i placed an order 7days in advance but it is almost 13days but i did not got any response from them I made several complaints. I told them that i will make a complaint against you in consumer court but no action taken yet. I am having my order number and complaint number with me both are as bellow:-

i have ordered one GERM KILL BATTERY for my pure it on last week after that no reply i get from you side. i have made various phone calls at the customer services of pure it & they assured me various times to serve me within 24 hours of my ph call. but it is quite unfortunate to note that no technician has yet attended on my call. this is a matter of negligence and inferior services to the customers. if the pure it team is not eligible to give the assured services to the customer then why the promises to the customer. Pure it after sales service is so bad that not only they attend to service requests after a looong time but they also send inexperienced technicians who don't know a jack about how to change the kit. My 6 year old nephew knows better by simply dismantling it after I dumped it in by backyard!

What happened was, when I filed a service request to change the germ-kill kit the local service center guy sent someone who may have not handled it before. Hence he somehow managed to break the front panel (the little window where you could see the battery indication) which wont even fix using any kind of glue.

Not just that god know what he did the filter itself wont work, the water remains clogged for hours before going into the lower chamber, hence extremely slow filteration process. Now you would say that the water could be highly contaminated and all, but I have tried it with AQUAFINA, BISLERI and KINLEY (which are supposedly LESS contaminated compared to tap water...but still) but it still doesn't work.

Hence I recommend every one who is reading this! PLEASE DO NOT BUY PURE IT especially if you are from small towns coz they have extremely poor and (slow?) service. They are luring more and more people using BS offers like 1 CRORE CHALLENGE and FREE PURE IT or double warrenty challenge. They are making a fortune with this by giving priority to SALES and not after sales service. Hence they would reach their target profit buy selling more and more units.

to even try taking the 1 crore challenge the filter has to WORK properly first ...LOLZ

Hindustan Unilever pure it water purifier is not got as per other filters.We called up the customer care service and the call gets transferred from one person to another but the repair is not done.It's totally negligence and uneducated, unorganized people working with this organization.
