We have purchased an IFB Dishwasher model-Neptune on 14/June/2009 from Vijay Sales, Thane (Tip Top Plaza branch) with 2 years on-site warranty . The machine stopped working on 11/Aug/2010. Complaint was lodged through call center. Complaint number 4923394. A person came on 13/Aug/2010 and tried repairing it without success. He mentioned that a senior would come tomorrow and fix it. For 3 days no one came. Later two persons came tried the machine and claimed to have fixed it, requesting me to try and work the machine when the electricity was restored.(In spite of my repeated requests to send the mechanic/s between 12 noon and 4 p.m. they always came after 3 p.m.) I tried to work the machine but it did not start, moreover water started coming from below the machine.
I called the call center again for redressing and requesting a change in service provider. Call center gave this telephone number 9323042442 of Mr. Shashank, IFB Area Service executive. A new complaint number: 4966635 dt:26/Aug/2010 was also given. I tried to call Mr.Shashank and after tiring number of tires talked to him about my complaint. He promised to look into the matter. There was no movement so I sent sms to Shashank on 27/Aug as: "Complaint no 4923394 dt 11-Aug & Complaint no. 4966635 dt 24-Aug. Not repaired yet. Anita Dandekar." On 3/09/2010 called the call center again for redressal.
