Angry Ifb washing machine front loading

    Hi,
i have an ifb washing machine i got the motor repaired for rs.4900/- some 7 months back that time i asked the engineer to give me my old motor since i have paid fully for the new motor the engineer was adament and took my old motor away with him.now again the washing machine is not working i was told i have to again pay around 4900/- for the motor i said yes and guess what? Ifb sent me an old repaired motor.look at my plight i am again and again paying such a large amount to such a big and brand name company and they are trying to put old motor for the price of new(taken by me).
Such a behaviour is not expected out of such a big brand name.customer satisfaction should be their first priority.i am really disappointed.please take immediate action.
    Thanks,

    Dear Shobhna,
I sympathize absolutely with you, as we too have had a similar experience with IFB "customer-care" as outlined in my post of Sep 6. I hope that the matter was subsequently resolved.. did you get a new motor? Our machine is still lying unattended. Our poor old maid has to do all the washing.. Could we some way get together & fight against IFB for justice/compensation ?

Thumbs down Motor issues with IFB WM

Hi - I've been similar issues with my IFB Senorita Washing machine. It's had multiple failures in the last 2 months and each time they have replaced a cicuit board, control board, and god knows what else..
Once I was told that the motor has failed and will need replacement. I was offered a used motor for Rs2000 and a new one for Rs4200. Though I was not keen on the used one, the technician kept insisting that it will serve my purpose - which, later I understood why. He even told me he brings the motor from his own Washing machine, which is the same model as mine.
He then replaced my motor with his used motor and then insisted on taking my motor too. At this point I was pretty sure he was cheating and asked him to put everything back the way it was and leave.

Later I called IFB again and another guy comes and says the motor is fine, but the circuit board needs to be replaced!!! machine worked for a couple of weeks after that. Post that there has been a series of failures and multiple things being changed. Now, again the machine is not working & I'm so fed up and plan to throw the machine away.

DONT BUY IFB Washing Machines. Service technicians are all crooks and IFB service stations seem to be supporting them/hand-in-glove with them.
and I'm not even getting into how difficult it is to get one technician to come .... when they do come, they are just trying to cheat you.

    Default IFB Service is worst

    Hi,
I registered the complaint against IFB on Washine Machine Problem. They sent me a person to attend the problem and he took Rs 331/- for finding the problem as Motor coils burnt. I requested him to replace the Motor, he came next Day without any making any calls as that Guy found I would not be around and could replace the Motor and get the Money Rs 5500 for that Motor from my aged in-laws. Accidently I reached home and found Guy were working to replace the Motor. However, my In-law who was working as Central Gov Employee in officer cadre informed me that, the motor does not look like the New one. I just seen the Motor, it was appera to be Used Motor because, it does not have the any Serial number from IFB(I meant Sticker) but it suppoosed to have Serial number with warranty being Genuine part. I asked the person, he said this is what company (which he is working )has been given to him. I spoke to the person who have sent him, he also stand on his point that it was new Motor and it was packed(in a thin Polythine paper).. I told him, it had lots of cratches, too much of dust/dirt in it, it does not have any Sticker as if new etc.. He does not any answer.. I sent this service person back..

I called IFB customer care but so far no Response after 3 Days.. So I decided to go outside worth guys to attned my problem as I found this IFB Service is no longer worth.

I just compared the Old MOTOR from machine looks newer than what they have brought as New one.

Default Watchout on - IFB Service Representative might steal the parts by bluffing

    Hi Dhanasekar again.

Being I found this IFB person try to replace the OLD Motor, I raised a request in local classifieds from internet and got number of calls. Out of many persons, I decided to call one person whose reviews posted were excellent stating his Service was good. He attended the problem and found the existing Motor in good condition and the problem was due to loose contact inside the Machine. Now Machine is working good with just paying Rs 350/-.

I am not sure whether the IFB person attended the problem is not enoughly trained or the representative sent by IFB are guys who take the genuine parts and replace with used/duplicate parts and getting the Money as if New Motor has been replaced. The way the IFB person acted was not seems to be genuine guy and his intention was to replace the Motor by convincing the customer.

WATCH OUT on such culprits and better go outside assuming IFB is not sending right representatives, there are many real techie guys available outside who are worth in providing good service.
