I bought an IFB washing machine 3 years ago. It started giving problems in the 3rd month. Now after less than 3 years it has completely flunked. The service poeple are only interested in AMC. the cost of repairing this machine again runs into 1000s (7000) without the AMC. Pleasse stop manufacturing this machine.It is susch a waste of your money.

God bless IFB users. New buyers - buy it only as a use and throw product with a life of 3 months to 4 years depending on your patience in dealing with service staff.

If it is a part failure, the part replacement can take endless time. My washing machine got is first repair within 3-4 months of purchase. With a hope to have less downtime, I got a 2 years AMC with them but their level of commitment and response time is pathetic. For one part to be replaced, I was told that it is not included in AMC - when no document says so. These days I am waiting for the heater to be replaced. Its been 14 days, no call escalations or talks with service head have worked. Is this what they call as customer care? IFB - wake up.
