I bought a Korya electric kettle on 4 Dec from Ezone in Powai, Mumbai. Koryo is the brand owned by Ezone. It was covered under warranty.
They gave me a packed kettle. When I returned home, the base of the kettle was badly twisted. It has to be a manufacturing defect. For a person to do so much damage, he'll need a crowbar or a hammer to cause the damage.
When I returned the kettle, ezone promised to contact me in a couple of days. They never did. I tried their number and was told that they'll call next day. Again, no response. When I tried again, no one took my call. Days became weeks and they finally called me on 31st Dec to tell me that such damage is not covered under warranty. They kept asking if I have used the kettle and I kept repeating that it was never in a condition to be used.
They promised to get back to me by 4 Jan but never did. Ezone people are thugs and I need to highlight this. I will definitely try all means to highlight this and any help from anyone will be much appreciated.
