Hi All,

I have purchased a DVD player from LG shoppe on 9/2/2009. At that time I got an extended 1 yr warranty. Yesterday I posted a complaint that my DVD player is not reading Disc properly and my product is under warranty.

Today a customer care executive "Sri Bhagwan" came to my place and asked that your lens need to be replaced without evgen looking at the player and it costs Rs 684.00. I just asked him why, he showed me a clause written on the back side of the warranty card stating that for Desktop and Laptop extended warranty offers service only no part will be replaced for free.

I told him that this is for Laptop and Desktop only but he started shouting on me saying "agar aap humpe vishwaas nahin karte to bulate kyon hain". I told him to wait for 5 minutes have wates, I want to talk to service center and ask them about it since it is written no where that we won't be provided part replacement. But, he took his material and left my place shouting on me "mera to aap jaise logo ke ghar aana hi bekaar, main yahan ruk nahin sakta"...

This service is really annoying and I am really looking forward to an action against him.. If required I am definately looking forward to go to consumer court and post my complaint.
