I am writing this after facing pathetic customer care service from LG India's staffs and seeing how their authorised service centers dictates the terms rather than LG's actual representative.
I bought the LCD 22LD245 on 08/01/2011. I requested the CC executive who visited my place for demo/installation that since my house was going through some renovation work, I would like to postpone the wall mounting job to few weeks. Executive's response was I can request anytime later when my house is ready for it and it would be done free of cost withing 1 year warranty period. Due to some official reason I was abroad for last few months.
After I came back, I lodged request twice -on 3/12/2011 & 9/12/2011( RNA111203056915 & RNA111209001216) where the CC clearly mentioned me it's not chargeable since it is still in warranty period. But every time I receive a call from local service center they refused saying the CC people aren't aware and we will charge you Rs 600( the person from Sree electronics, Sanpada, Navi mumbai has even offered for some adjustment off the record).
Also not able to contact local CC officer( Miss Swarna Sawant, number provided by CC executive over phone ) as somebody picks up the phone to disconnect immediately.
My question is that how every person who all are representing same company can differ on the terms of service. Whom should I believe as customer.
I am frustrated with LG service by seeing such a pathetic response, it's amusing how the service center dictates the terms by just saying they are the one who decides the deliverables.
