Recently I bought two ACs (1 ton split and 0.8 window) Koryo Brand from Big Bazaar from Zirakpur, Chandigarh (Distt. Mohali Punjab) and I even asked the concerned person to get the installation done but no one turned up. I kept on calling Big Bazaar customer care and even visited the place asking them to send the person for installation but in vain . I was even told by one of the person in electronics of Big Bazaar that I can have the installation by outsider and so i had the installation done by an outsider. Later I found that AC is not providing cooling at all and I contacted Big Bazaar but they said as the installing is not done by their service center, i.e., Koryo, they canont check it and even the warranty stands cancelled and when I contacted the Koryo service center person, he told the concerned person at Big Bazaar should have told that warranty stands cancelled if we have the installation is done by outsiders. But to my surprise, no even at the big bazaar informed me regarding this that warranty stands cancelled in such cases, and when I escalated this issue to big bazaar, they said they would have it checked, but till now there is no response and now whenever I call the concerned person, they do not even pick the phone. I am feeling like cheated as the ACs have cost me around 25+K. Kindly let me know if anything can be done in this regard as I feel I am not at fault as no one cared to inform me regarding warranty and even the big bazaar agreed that it was mistake on their part of having not informed earlier, but they have not corrected it as of yet. Kindly suggest.
