Dear your Honour

I am facing a lot's of problem with Onida A.C.. Not cooling since july. After complaining many times. They are charging for what is in warranty (i.e.Compressor / Compressor related problem).

All the correspondance regarding this matter to ONIDA people is given below.

Please do the justice regarding this matter.

Dear Sir,

Please find the estimate and approve the same then only we will collect your machine and complete within 3 working days.

We are not denying that the compressor is not in warranty. The warranty in compressor not in the Gas. If compressor is defective then the gas charging cost will have to pay.

After 3-4 times calling to your customer care & two - three times sending you mail on your I.d , Till now my problem is un solved.

will you please tell me wether my A.C. compressor related problem is going to be repaired or not. I also need the proforma invoice / detailed statement for your so called charges for repairing my compressor related problem. as I come to know that Gas cost is between Rs.300-600 per kg. & It was a Manufacturing defect.

Sir / Madam,



I regretfully want to intimate you the malfunctioning of the window A.C. of your company (i.e. ONIDA). The machine used to take a long time to cool but at a later stage the cooling effect completely ceased. I guess only the fan is functioning at present. After repeated complaints we received a complaint no.10071606385219 on 26th of July ‘2010.It was stated that an engineer would visit positively on 31st July morning 10’o’clock. The engineer himself confirmed of his visit on that particular day (31.07.2010) with in 10a.m. but eventually he did not come. No engineer turned up till 31st July morning ‘2010, noon. After complaining to the senior person (service) in the noon time, the service engineer arrived at 2.p.m.



He inspected and told that the machine suffered gas leakage. He further stated that gas filling will cost Rs. 2800/- .we are highly shocked that you are charging exorbitantly for a compressor related problem, which is under warranty period of 60 months. I am not ready to pay any amount related to any problems of compressor, whether it is gas filling or anything else, since it is a manufacturing defect. The engineer stated that gas leaked very gradually and there may be still some gas inside, as it is a minor leakage.



A prompt response expected to meet our urgency in this hot and humid season.
