I had purchased one Eureka - Aquaguard Booster model in 2006. There after I had no problems till Sept 2008, when I approached the Eureka Forbes help line for assistance. They directed me to their service provider for AMC contact. I agreed for the contact for two years by paying INR 1,890/- vide cheque under the commitment of service from Sep , 22, 2008 till Sep 21, 2010.
This included
Free replacement of spare parts and periodical services to the purifiers.
1). Two periodical service visits per year during the period of contract
2). Any Additional visit during thecontract period as and when required
3). Replace of the pre filter candle to be made once every year
4). Replacement of activated carbon granules to be made twice every year
5). Replacement of the dual filter cartrige will be made once
6). Replacement of worn - out/ exhausted parts, including Ultra - Violet Lamp with new / rectified spares during the periodical servicing and breakdown.
Out of the above none of the services were provide and few provided scarecely, also there has not been four mandatory visit which is required in the span of two years.
Services provided as against promised in the contract.
1). It mentions that four period visit would be done at the site to check the water purifier, instead till date only two visits have been done( including the one at the time of signing the contract).
First visit :- At the time of signing the contract
Second visit :- At the time of break down, on requesting the agency to provide assistance
Other than these two there has not been any visit to the product of contract which means there was no periodic visit done on the site.
2). The second visit was done on request of break down , at that time carbon was changed.
3). The pre filter candle was replace only once in the span of two years, that also was done on the date the contract was signed as a attraction to sign the contract. There after the pre filter candle has not been changed.
4).Only twice the granules have been changed, once at the time of contract signing ( again as attraction to sign the contract) , second time at the request call on break down of the machine.
5) Replace of dual filter cartidge has not been done till date
6).Activated carbon granules to be replace twice every year, which means four time in two years have been done only twice.
On top of all this the gentle men fromthe service providers walks up to our house and offers us for change of candle and carbon filters ( on 25th Dec 2010) we assume that all this is part of the contract which got expired in Sep 2010 as courtsey as they were unable to get them replace during the contract period. However once the work was done he forwarded us the documents for siging a fresh contract for one / two year. This gentle men instead of taking our permission for the new contract forced us to get the two items replaced and then offered us tosign the contract.
Is it a new policy of the company to get the customer lured and force to go into a contract after getting the items replace in the machine. More over does the contract only contains changing of filter and carbon during the signing of the contract there after only at the time of renewal the service executive would visit the site.
It shows a very poor follow up and a malafied intention of extracting the contract money and not providing the facilities and services as mentioned int he contract.
Solution:-
We want the following to be actioned immediately without any charges.
1). Change of the pre filter candle
2). Change of the activated carbon granules
3). Change of UV Lamp as the one is having a problem
4). Change of the dual filter cartidge.

Visit done on Dec 25, 2010 for renewal of the contract by Mr Ram of the same agency, instead of clarifying that he has come in for a new contract , he immediately replace the itmes of the machine and offered us to sign the contract, which forms a part of malafied services with wrong intentions to get the other party enter in to a contract forcefully.
