I bought Samsung Led Tv on 5th Feb. They offered me as a package Free DishTV. The Free Dish was not installed for 3 weeks. Samsung took 1 week to give the voucher. 2 weeks DishTV took to install. In the 2 weeks time DishTv promised installing within the 24 hours.
After 2 weeks and umpteen mails and calls the DishTv got installed. Though I was unhappy , thought that once connection is in place, there may not me much to worry. But, my happiness was short lived. By 2nd day some channels disappeared and started getting 101 and 301 errors. I reported this to Dishtv, assuming it was a silly Package updation issue. Within 2 hours from that the service went blank. Though the issue of 101 and 301 were there earlier, major channels used come normally for 4 days before complaining. Initially voice was there but no picture for 30 minutes ; later it turned into CARD refresh error; after one more time powering up the STB. stuck in “BOOT” permanently. I reported this to DishTV, to get the problem resolved and got a complaint number 55070409. They have not resolved the issue till now. Probably a government company would a shade better than Dishtv for stooping that low. They lied about attending the call in 24 hours; though 6.5 days passed from the time complained, the technician is yet to see my premises.
DishTv lied 4 times of having resolved the problem, without even sending any one to my door step. They also lied about having problem reaching me on my mobile, which is literally free 24 hours of the day and having no missed calls.
I blame Samsung to offer Dishtv as Free with Samsung LED TV. I recommend public to stay away from both Samsung and DishTv. I complained to Samsung they are also equally careless about the Customers. When Samsung offers DishTv , ask for Cash discount instead!!!. God save the customers of DISHTV!!!
