Samsung lcd problem REPAIR COST 25K
I am the new victim of Samsung LCD panel problem.

I bought 32 inch LCD around 2 years back in Delh (NOW I AM IN MUMBAI)i. I paid approx 46K for this product. All of a sudden we noticed idle Blue screen turned out as Red and edges of all the objects on screen got hazy.

I filed my complaint in Samsung and got 8415546164 as ref no. Technician (Shailesh)came to my place and without properly checking the issue he told us "Panel udd gaya hai - jaise mobile phone ka udd jaata". He was purely non-technical guy and looked like he came to do the formality. I asked him to get some senior guy visit as shelling out 20K is something which is out of my budget. Yesterday one sr. guy came and checked and gave us estimate for replacing LCD PANEL Rs.25066/-. i was out of words, the LCD which we hardly used is now asking another 25k as repair cost??? IS SAMSUNG MAKING LCDs for TWO YEARS LIFE MAX ??
This LCD is hardly we using from last one year, before that it was just idol as photoframes in living room, only one year use and repair cost 25k is not justified at all... Inspite of showing attention or conern for us, these samsung guys wants their visiting fee instead of giving solution. This senior technician went with his visiting fee, but we have no idea what next?? As per this senior technician they have a large no. of consumers so it doesnt bother them if we go to consumer court and all, they have expertise to deal in it. By registering here I want justice please give us right direction and justice. thank you to whom is reading this and trying to give justice to doomed consumers like us.

i also want answers of the same questions one of unlucky samsung consumer has already asked from samsung officials of following:

1. IF THE LIFE EXPECTANCY OF THIS LCD TV WHICH HAS COST A SMALL FORTUNE FOR US IS SO LOW WHY THE SAME WAS NOT INFORMED TO US AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE ?

2.IF THE TV HAS ONLY THREE PARTS WHICH ARE NOT REPAIRABLE AND REPLACEMENT COSTS ARE HUGE AND THE PRODUCT IS LIKE ANY OTHER USE AND THROW PRODUCT WHY THIS FACT WAS NOT INFORMED TO US AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE ?

3. LOOKING AT THE THOUSANDS OF SIMILAR COMPLAINTS ABOUT YOUR LCD TVS ON THIS SITE IS IT NOT THAT THIS PRODUCT WAS SUBSTANDARD AND STILL THESE LOTS WERE DISPLAYED AT RETAIL OUTLETS FOR SALE TO ALL GULLIBLE CUSTOMERS LIKE ME. DOES IT NOT AMOUNT TO CHEATING?

4. IS YOUR COMPANY A REALLY MULTINATIONAL WHICH IS NOT BOTHERED TO CREATE DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN ITS REPUTATION FOR ITS PRODUCTS IN THE MARKET.

5. DO I GET REFUND OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY WHICH FOR YOU MAY BE PEANUTS BUT FOR ME IT IS A SMALL FORTUNE?

I SINCERELY HOPE THAT THIS SORT OF MARKETING OF SUBSTANDARD PRODUCTS BY THE SO CALLED MULTI NATIONAL COMPANY WILL BE TAKEN NOTE BY THE RELEVANT GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND THE CONCERNED OFFICIALS WILL BE BROUGHT TO BOOK BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
