I have bought One Samsung LCD TV (LA32S8), from T.S.Vision, Vapi, on 28/10/07. My set developed some problemson 8/3/2010. When I made a complaint, One engineer turned up to my residence at 103-Balaji Park, Behind Bhilad Plaza, Bhilad - 396105, Gujarat, and told me that they can service tht set only, if I can send the set to their service Centre at Vapi, (Samsung India Electronics, Pvt.Limited, Authorised Service Centre,at Shop No-8, Ankul Chambers,NH No-8,Near Dharti Chambers, GIDC, Vapi, Phone-0260-2428169), Since I am an old man with lot of health problems (heart),I asked an autoriksha man to deliver the set at their service centre. He delivered the set, against their receipt, After about ten days, they called me tell me that I have to change the LCD panel, which would cost Rs.25,000/00., which I cannot afford. Under the circumstances, I wrote a letter toSamsung, Delhi, for which I got a reply, saying that they will forward that to Customer Satisfaction Team.Now the Service Centre is asking me to take the set back, without repairing.As per Samsung India's letter, theirtransaction No:2004195748, dated 25/3/2010.

I am 70 years old, and living with my wife,(who is also a heart patient).I am practising astrology, here at my residence, and somehow making both my ends meet, with lot of difficulties.Our only pastime is watching Tv programmes, hence we invested Rs.36,000 for this LCD TV (after very long consideration), and we cannot afford Rs.25,000/- for repairing charges. Kindly negotiate, with manufacturer for a concession or replacement.
