Dear Concerned Authority
I am an unofortunate consumer as I use a Samsung product.
My Samsung refrigerator Model No. RT44MAMS1/xTL is not working for the last 4 days.
I registered a complaint ( Complaint No. 8402818267) in the Samsung Service Call centre on the 26th May 2010, when I was told they would try to repair it the very same day. Today it is 28th May and the fridge lies in the same non-functional condition as there has been no response from the company regarding the repair, nor has there been any engineer sent for the same, despite calling up them at least 10 times and being assured every time that an engineer would be ther shortly.
I am extremely disappointed with Samsung and feel cursed to have bought a samsung product, as they promise excellent after sale service but I just think, it is a mere fake promise. This is the third time my fridge is malfunctioning in the last six months. the last time there occured a proble, we took a maintenence contract with the Samsung company according to which in case of any problem, they are supposed to attend our complaint immediately and repair the fridge at no cost. Forget the cost, they are not coming only.
We have incurred losses to the tune of Rs. 3000/- on account of the items which were stored in the fridge and besides that, we are living without cold water and vegetables for the last three days, in the peak summer.
I feel as a cheated consumer at the moment and I urge the Consumer Forum to take strict action against the company for fooling customers while boasting to be a great company.
I anticipate a response to my compaint.
