    Angry Samsung split AC Customer Care

    I have recently bought an SPLIT AC from SAMSUNG. From the first day I was not kind of impressed with the product as it took some time to cool a very small room for its capacity 1.5 ltr. I initially thought, may be due to the weather then in BANGALORE, yes it was really HOT!!!, its taking some time to cool. The days progressed, the weather got better but even then it is taking some time to cool and it drips a lot of water from the outdoor unit. I was kind of bothered and I have called up their CUSOMER CARE, this happened on APRIL 13. They were nice and they told me that they will send an expert. One/Two day(s) I received a call from their service guy asking for visit to my place, I asked him to visit my place after 6.00 PM, he said we would call me and visit after 6.00PM. But today being MAY 4, till now no one have visited my place yet in spite of my repeated calls to their customer care and their fake response of sending a guy or calling me back and loads of other shits. I know there should so many of people you have had a same experience as me. I would like make this a online petition. Please post your comments.

    This is truly my experience with SAMSUNG customer care. In one word, it is very PATHETIC.

    Default I am a man after the purchase of samsung ac

    I AM RESIDING IN SOUTH CHENNAI ECR KOTTIVAKKAM AREA. I BOUGHT 1 TON SPLIT AC SUMSUNG BRAND FROM JAYAM &CO IN KOTTIVAKKAM. THE WARRANTY PERIOD HAS BEEN FINISHED NOW THE AGE FOR THE AC IS 3 YEARS.

    I HAVE MADE A COMPLAINT TO SERVICE MY SPLIT AC since it was having a problem.

    After so many requests the customer complaint persons given me a number to contact.This was given by the customer complaint after i was with them for a continuous contact. I think to avoid my torture they would have given the number.

    I had contacted the service centre. After 6 days a person from samsung has come to my house and checked the AC. They found that the PCB board has to be replaced.

    This was told by the person 12 days before.

    Even now the PCB board has not received by me and I have tried so many times ( 29 times ) to the service centre till today.

    No response.
    I am thinking in this way that we are all little educated and god has given little brain to interact with each other to know the problems and to solve the problems .

    But even for us the educated samsung is giving this much response.

    But I am thinking about the uneducated who bought AC from Samsung. Horrible.

    Even after his death and reach sorgam to complaint infront of lord` Shiva vishnu and brahmma.

    Even after the complaint to god also I am sure Samsung will not respond.

    With much irritation only i am writting this to samsung.

    Dear Sir,
    My Name is G.V.V Prasad. I am a Business man. I have purchased 4 AC’s with 1.5 ton capacity on dated 02/06/10 on behalf of Sri Lakshmi Sainath Plaza, Payakaraopeta, and Vishakapatnam Dist.
    But One is not working at all from 08/06/10. I have lodged a Complaint on 09/06/10. My Complaint Number is: 8415391072.
    But until now I haven’t received any service from your company executive. My Anguish is towards the problem I am facing from the service your company is providing. As a Business man I am not free to look after all these issues at all the times. I am totally not satisfied with your service.
    Even now I am mailing to provide the best service to the customers. Note that Satisfactory of the Customer makes you Pride.

    hello sir i had purchased split air condition on april 5 2010 from when bought from that it is not
    getting colled have been complaining every day no one is responding i told to
    replace the ac but no one cares what hell company they running i am sorry i going to file
    the case in consumer court with compensation all the people having same problem
    let us file case against them

    Default samsung service problem and charges

    I have purchased a 1.5 t split AC (Model : Sam-AS18EFBXTL) from Sunder Radios, Nagercoil, on 28/04/09.
    I am not at all satisfied with the product as it takes long time to cool a small room and takes high current. it was not used during the winter season, and one month ago, when it was switched it was drawing very high current during the compressor starting and the fuse blows, and was not operational after that.

    Samsung AC service person from Sunder Radios, Nagercoil, has attended the problem and he was telling one capacitor has gone and the charge is Rs. 350/-. I checked the cover of the RUN CAPACITOR (Part No. 1000882 from Totaline)and the MRP was only Rs. 225/- (inclusive of all Taxes and Levies). I enquired with the Service centre at Sunder Radios, Nagercoil, and they were to the point that it costs Rs. 350/- only. I will be writing to Totaline, regarding this and to consumer forum, also.

    This is the way they charge the spare items. In addition to this, the Service Charge is Rs. 400/- So, I had to shed out Rs. 750/-, which is exorbitant for the problem attended. Can Samsung, an International Company look into this matter and straighten some of this issued.

    Default Samsung Split AC - Extremely Poor Service

    I bought my AC last year from Dawar Gurgaon on 21st March 2010. The vendor promised that the AC will be serviced thrice during the course of 1 year. But, to my astonishment, it was not serviced even 1 time, neither through the vendor nor through Samsung. At last, I tried putting in the complaint on 20th March 2011 through your website, but it seems the online complaint feature does not work. Subsequently, I could muster a complaint on 21st March 2011 morning.

    Today, the engineer (Deepanshu) turned up to tell me that your warranty is over and the gas is AC is lesser than required and I will be charged INR 1500/- for the refill. I spoke to the Supervisor and he said you missed the date by few hours and hence any service will be on chargeable basis. It a sense of extreme disappointment and a feeling of being duped. I never ever would have thought a company like Samsung would work in this manner.

    I need somebody to look into this and apply some exception at least, more so, as AC service should be triggered either by the vendor or the manufacturer. In may case nobody seems to take care of the same.

    Default Samsung Split AC - Extremely bad Service

    I bought my AC last year from A S rao nagar, Hyderabad on 21st Feb 2010. The vendor didnt even say that the AC will be serviced thrice during the course of 1 year. The installation was really bad.But, to my astonishment, I did receive a call in the month of Nov 2010 saying that we need to pay Rs750 for the service. Later in April 2011 we did knew from one of our cousin that the company will provide 3 free services.But when we called they said that the warrenty period is over & moreover they said that don't you even know that they will be free services & said that we cant do any help.

    Is this the way that a company like Samsung showing BIG BIG ads in the telivision & could not even help the customer and provide atleast good service if not best.

    I am surprised to see so many complaints about Samsung AC or air conditioning systems and theur customer services. Also I feel I am fortunate to have gone for Daikin India AC. They are excellent and even in the middle of scorching summer (which is supposedly the busiest season for them) they are so prompt with their customer service. I am impressed.

    This is for the first time that I have come across so many so-so many complaints regarding Samsung AC and especially customer service and I am thoroughly surprised. And also, I guess this is the reason why Samsung's brand value is deteriorating, where as its competitors like Daikin India, LG, Haier etc are rising high.

    It is really strange for me to come across a complaint for Samsung, for, it is very very rare that they fail either with their products or customer service. They are actually considered a giant in Air Conditioning industry, very much like Daikin India, LG, Haier etc. So its bad.
