    Question Sony careless & poor quality service after sale

    I had given the DVD camcorder to Sony Service Center, 32 Hazra Road, Kolkata-29 on 17/12/09 with following defects:
    Eye viewer not working, i.e. no display
    power connector in handset not working properly (same persist after 1st time repairing in same place)
    Auto focus not working
    LCD screen undulating while recording occasionally
    After repairing, no 1 & 2 problems have been successfully done but major problem of the camcorder is not solved. Due to problem no 3 & 4 purpose of video recording of important family gathering, holiday trips all goes in to vein.
    If Sony service center has no reliability & quality service then it will be painful to trust on Sony brand. If you want I can send you some collection my past & present videos as a sample to understand my fillings.

    I have given to same service center i.e., Sony Service Center, 32 Hazra Road, Kolkata-29 again for repairing the problems 3 & 4 with occasionally memory card not recognizing on 26/05/2010.

    Log Information - 300747859 Model - DCR-DVD908 E35 Serial No-294416 Date of Purchase - 11/09/2007

    Money can not return my memorable gathering & joy. Please ensure for proper repairing which under warranty period.

    Hope this time my problems will be truly solved NOT false servicing. Please take needful action for better quality service. But same thing repeats once again with no solution.

    After repeated complain to Sony online customer care no positive response from sony has been received.

    This is the third time we have received the DVD Camcorder with no result for rectification of Auto Focus. Even it becomes worst then before. Some times display unit flicker as seem to like short circuit in the circuit, while recording video & suddenly power off though the battery backup was more than 2 hours.

    The way Sony shows his poor quality service backup and responsibility towards customer, it is very painful that such a reputed brand do not have quality service professional & commitment towards customer after sale within a warranty period.

    I have called the Sony Camcorder Toll free number :1800-103-7799 today twice (complain no-5478606) regarding my problem with no positive feedback from Sony.

    Default SONY SERVICE CENTRE at VIJAYAWADA

    My laptop speaker is not working so i went to sony service centre at vijayawada After repairing my keyboard buttons are not working and assembling was done wrong because of that a small crack happened. My keys are not working and also lightly broken due to wrong assembling I have given complaint to sony about vijayawada sony service centre.

    Our authorised service centres are well-equipped to handle all kind of product repairs. Be assured that they take best care of all products. Your case is an aberration. Please share you contact details and also the name, and contact detail of service centre which handled your product. They must have provided you with a service number, please share that as well.
