My Samsung television On 8th July 2010 malfunctioned and stopped working.
I logged a complaint with Samsung customer care on 080-3030 8282 and I was told that someone will attend to it by 8pm on 9th July 2010. Reference number given to me was: 8405339120
On 9th July 2010, one person came (vijay, phone: 9886871310) home at 1.30pm and attended to the problem for 1 hour, fixed the back cover and when he started the TV it had some unusual sound and stopped working. So he said he needs one more component and will come back tomorrow! though half of the day was still remaining....
However, he did not return till date ( writing this on 16th July 2010 9:30pm ). Atleast 10 calls to the customer care have gone in waste. Have been hearing the same repeated dialogue "someone will attend before 8pm".
Also, since 13th July 2010 they also started saying they will arrange for a callback from Bangalore service center but no one has called me yet. Probably he is least bothered about the issues.(Branch service manager Rangaswamy must understand the importance of after sale service but no point! )
So customers, especially those who are willing to buy any product from Samsung, please be aware of this pathetic service before buying products from SAMSUNG.....
Today, on 16th Jul 2010, I called up atleast 6 times to the Bangalore service center on 080 23496985 and all the time they said the component is available and we will send Vijay. They also told me to call him to find when he may come. That guy is such an arrogant person. He said the part hasn't come yet and he will come tomorrow.
I am ready to take this matter with the court and sue them properly for keeping me waited for 7 full days. Any help would be highly appreciated.
