    Thumbs down Voltas AC -Worst Service by Reliance Mart

    I have purchased one voltas Split AC(5 *) worth 32K from reliance mart on 9th May 2010.They installed it on 10th May 2010.But it was not working since then also noted by the Engineer(Mr.Sameer) post installation.

    Then on 11th may 2010 ,I logged a complain to customer care 040-44722222 and they provide me the complain No-800601604 assuring me the SLA to be 48 hrs and they will resolve the issue within 48 hrs.

    Everyday I used to follow up with them(Mr. Sudhir-04044722222 and Mr.Sathish-9963998585) for atleast 4-5 times a day and every time they answering me that tehy will send the technician by EOD.

    Their EOD never came and my money was blocked due to the dumb AC they provided to me.

    It is really pathatic that a complany like Reliance Mart/Voltas(Tata Product) has such poor service centres who give their customers such stress & tensions. Their service centre & the customer care is only earning disgrace to the company.

    I Request you to help to kindly help me get my system in good working condition or the company should replace the system or give me a compensation.

    This is to bring in your kind notice that we purchased Voltas Vertis Plus Window AC from Bakshi Television Company, Paharganj, New Delhi on 17th August, 2009. The model number is 4010903/2009.

    We have been approaching the executives from the company by calling their helpline numbers since March 2010 for the due service and other issues like dysfunctional swing feature of the AC. We have been given lots of complaint numbers:

    26th March, 2010 - 10MR2604237

    4th May, 2010 - 10MY0403101

    24th May, 2010 - 10MY2405371

    In spite of repeated complaints by us and confirmation of sending the technical assistant by Voltas, we are yet to hear from someone who can get the job done.

    We are repeatedly given new complaint numbers and the executives keep on transferring the calls to the next senior level, without any action actually taking place at the ground level.

    Half of the summers have passed away and yet we keep on getting assurances about a person looking into our case within 3 days. Unfortunately, these 3 days have not been over even after the completion of 3 months.

    This case clearly points upon highly unprofessional approach by Voltas.

    Kindly guide me through the procedure that should be taken so that the AC lying at our home is taken back by Voltas with my money being refunded in full and I can buy another AC of a competent enough company.

    Post complaint of split ac

    I have purchased new split ac of voltas i.e voltas vertis plus worth Rs. 24000.00 from Delhi.Its Fan blade of outer portion was damaged itself without any external reason.I made complaint about it. Comapny repair it after a long period of 2 months. Then it make noise and company send their technician after a long period. They service my ac and break its lock of drain court which is used for swing strip for air swing. After a long period of my complaint no. 11SP1902190 their technician and service center owner refuse about it and told that it is not mantainable and will be charged cash.Service provider have no right to make any damage during servicing and liable to pay if any damage occurs.

    I think Voltas is that one leading brand which was a ruler till some time back and then has suddenly fallen down the stairs. I think they failed in maintaining their success. And it will certainly cost them. Look at other brands which are sustaining their success- Daikin India, Samsung, LG... Really commendable.
