i had purchased a 7 year warranty with my refrigerator, and its still in warranty. now my fridge is giving problems for which i have registered two complaints and have mailed the following to there customercare

With great annoyance this is to register and bring on record the poor service provided to me against my
complaint nos:
1. jpi011007362 dt. 25th october 11 and
2. jp111100090 dt. 3rd nov 11

First complaint which I filed on 25th oct, there was no response from your side till 3rd nov. On calling your service care again, I was informed that
the complaint has been closed because when the service person came to my house, it was locked, which was contrary to the information that was given to me where concerned person Jitendra Parewa had to call me before coming to attend the complaint. More over the question of my house being locked does not arise till 31st oct atleast, due to diwali festival.
On 3rd when I called to find the progress of my complaint I was forced to lodge second complaint as the first complaint had been closed without even being resolved .

For my second complaint filed on 3rd nov, Mr lokesh visited on 5th and informed that module of the refrigerator needs to be changed. He was to come and fix the module on 6th, which didn't happen. And whole of 7th is also finished but there is still no communication from his end.

My refrigerator was bought under the scheme 'peace of mind plan', and it has been acting quite contrary to what it claims.

I hope you do understand how important refrigerator is for any household. We are a family of 5 and with my refrigerator not working properly for so many days have created a havoc for me in my domestic life.
With a well established brand of yours such poor after sale customer service is just not acceptable. I will have to think twice next time while buying your brand, as the awful after service is something I am not ready to go through again.

Poor response and follow up by your customer care centre is just not acceptable. And I am not ready to compromise with my family's health nor be cheated because of your poor services.

Please kindly look into the matter asap and please ensure that problem of my refrigerator is quickly taken care of.
Failing which I will not hesitate to go to customer court nor will I mind engaging in negative campaign against your brand.

Looking forward to an early response from your end.


to this i have been asked to wait and cooperate. i feel more than cheated.
i dont know how can u wait and wait for more than 17 days with a fridge not working and still a company with a brand name of whirlpool just sleep over complaints like for 17 and more days.

i want to bring this to every ones notice that the after sales service of whirlpool is awful
