Undersigned has written a mail to helpdeskindia@whirlpool.com on 26.07.2010 and subsequently lodge a complaint and assured me it will be attended urgent basis.But till my call to the service center # 033 60008558 on 30.07.02010 @ 12.43 Hrs attended by one Mr. Amit & informed me that one part has to be change and the same is not in their stock. And it is surprise to hear that the machine was attended on 19.06.2010, since then the part was not available with such a big"Amarica's No-1 Home Appliances" company. The prifilter candle they are supplying after removal of the original available with product of worst quality and is the root of all problem.
One sided correspondance had with whirlpool are as follows but I am sorry to inform that no body has shown a minimum courtesy to reply the mail.

Myself Sambit Ghosh one of the satisfied customer of Whirlpool Product like Washing Machine, Refrigerator & finally purchased Water Purifier ( Serial # KRA091660927 , Model # 5200RS ) from E-Zone , Home Town, Rajarhat , Kolkata on 26.07.2010. As per the policy of Warranty and free service I have been offered services accordingly. On 17.03.2010 at the time of servicing your authorized personnel Mr. Sajid Sarder has been offered his comments for maintaining the purifier in good condition and suggested us to replace the pre filter candle, and the same has been changed with the available stock with him with a costing of Rs.250/-.
After few weeks it has been observed that the auto cut off was not working and the motor was steel operational after filled up storage tank. On 17.06.2010 at the time of service by Mr. Raju Moyra has been checked the machine and to all my surprise suggested to change the filters RO Membrane, Plus Sediment & Pre Carbon. Since it was the one and only device to purify the drinking water I do not have any other option rather to change. Since the filters were not readily available with him Mr. Raju Moyra again visited on 19.06.2010 and changed the mentioned filters. While cleaning of the pre filter candle it was noticed that the candle was got soften like anything and as per me it not served it’s purpose and caused damage internal filters within this short period. The earlier filter supplied along with the purifier was much more better quality (Hard Surface) compare to the replaced one and served better after regular maintenance. I was instructed to filled the water and drain out the same to get fresh water further. Since it will take an hour or more to filled up the full tank and refill the same to check that auto cut option is working or not, I was requested to allow him to go and told me to call (Mob # 9062058895) him if the problem persists. The problem was still there and instead of repeated request the person never turned up. Further undersigned has received a call from your Delhi office for further service week before and the matter was briefed to him and assured me to attain the same immediately and accordingly your service personnel also confirmed my availability also. One week left after the confirmation but no body has visited my place and while contacted to the person he advised to speak with one Mr.Arnab (Contact # 90070509).
Mean time the purifier is in non operational condition and when removed the pre filter candle for cleaning to my surprise the filter synthetic wool (not at all the quality of earlier candle supplied with the purifier) started getting out like candy flows. Enclosed please find here with snaps of the washed candle and scanned copy of service request (Customer Copy) for your ready reference. It is my strong belief that this pre filter candle is root of all problems and the quality of replaced candle is worst quality.
In view of the above situation you are requested to take necessary action at the earliest and compensate accordingly.
