HCL, V1 tablet

Dear Consumer Support Team,

My name is Ishwar Sukhani & I purchased a new HCL ME V1 tablet on 2-Feb-2013 from a dealer located at Indore, India. From the very first day I am facing the following problems in the tablet:-

1) It hangs frequently
2) It restarts atleast 2-5 times a day
3) Does not detect Micro SD card
4) Especially hangs when I insert memory card and/or SIM card
5) Some apps/games do not work

I also called HCL support & my Service Request Number is 8502140692. I am very upset with the service provided by HCL in the new product.

After facing these problems in the first few days itself, I do not trust the product anymore which I purchased so I want refund from HCL and I expect your help because I dont need any repairments in my product. Please consider my application. Kindly revert as soon as possible.

i am facing similar problems, my hcl v1 tablet work fine for first couple of days, and sudenaly it stop to recognized sdcard

I always felt that HCL as a Brand carries a lot of Weight. I was under the Impression that they are offering a Very Good Product and a Good Customer Care.

But After Purchasing HCL ME V1 Tablet I came to the Hollow Claims HCL people are Making. I think I have done the worst mistake in my life by Purchasing HCL Tablet.
But the most Important aspect you Ignore is the After sales Support and Customer Care. If I compare their After sales and Customer care you people I Feel they don’t deserve to Exist.

After Purchasing My ME V1 Tablet I was Facing Problems like The Tablet used to Get Hanged in Between, Network Issue. But the worst Issue was that when I connected the USB it was not detecting. I tried to call their Customer Care Numbers. I had to Hold the Line for a Minimum of 10 Minutes to get somebody on Line. They are not able to solve the Problem.
Worst is their Service Centre. I had given this Tablet at Service centre at Marol in Mumbai on Saturday 16.3.13.My Call ID is 8502537116.It was being Told to me that I will get my Tablet repaired by Tuesday 19.3.13.

Whenever I tried to call Service Centre on Number : 022- 40510231 they mentioned that they will be updating me status in Half an Hour but they never Updated the Status. After calling them Fourth Time on the same Day their Engineer Mr. Pradeep mentioned that there is a Problem with the Mother Board and he has Put a Request for the Replacement of Part today Afternoon ie on 19th July 2013. The Handset was Submitted at Service Centre on 16th March 2013 and they places a Request for Replacement on 19th March.It was told to me that they will be sending the Status Updates by SMS. But till Today ie 21st March I have not received any updates on the Service status. I had written several Mails to their MAil ID hcltouch.reg@hcl.com. They even dont have the Courtesy to even Reply back to the Mail.
If HCL did not have the capability in terms of Customer Service then why the Hell they have Launched HCL ME V1 Tab.

Friends never ever Purchase any of HCL Products . They are the Worst in After Sales Service and Customer Care

Yes, JAY I had buyed a hcl mev1on 2months agooo there is main problem for me is it is loading on loading and showing me tablet on the screen for whole day i had called to the hcl support center for their answer there is no final result so, dont buy it

i am also facing the same problms.. it also hangs too much and does not support 3g voice calling and video calling…..
i hav called customer care several times.. also visited service center and written mail to hcl… but till now i didnt get any response… i purchased it on 2nd april 2013

my HCL me v1 do not detect SD card
not even run properly
reboot frequently
it hangs many times a day

baakwaaaas haai HCL do not purchase it.

From the first day itsely..i am facing the same problums mentioned by other buyers ..
My V1 tab hangs on logo and doesn’t starts …i dont know why had HCL launched such a tablet which can’t work even a single day..!!!
nned help please….serious matter..!

Hi i purchased HCL V1 tablet from nepal nd frequently im getting da problem. Specially it hangs. Now im in pune as i study here can i have refund as i dont trust in this product anymore..
Or any other help can be done.

I am from kerala i have an hcl me v1, i am also facing similar problem, it continuesly hanging and sd card not mounting,, so i can’t use many application like camera,gallary,, this is the worst electronic device i ever had,,

is there any solution for this problem…

if not let us form a group, and put up case at consumer court…

Dear Consumer Support Team,

My name is PRAKASH located at serilingampalli, Hyderabad,Telangana, India. From the very first day I am facing the following problems in the tablet:-

1) It hangs frequently
2) Internet not working
3) Network problem
4) Does not detect Micro SD card
5) Some apps/games do not work
6)Some times Tab Touch not works & Heat up
Purchased in March 2013

I am contacted customer service center in may2013 for hanging, in September2013 for Touch not working , In feb for Does not detect Micro SD card..

Service center people simply reset setting giving tab returns.
If we checks whether works or not tab charging is empty or in service center no power
